Macomb Community Campus Police Officer

Macomb Community College has a vacancy for Campus Police Officers with assignments at multiple campuses. Campus Police Officers are responsible for:
- The prevention and suppression of crime
- Protection of life and property
- Preservation of the peace
- Enforcement of state, local, and federal laws, as well as Macomb Community College regulations.
Hours, days, and campus assignments may vary. Qualified applicants will have one year in the public safety profession as a certified sworn police officer. The Police Officer, upon being hired, will be certified as a duly sworn Police Officer by the Michigan Commission of Law Enforcement Standards (MCOLES) under Senate bills 614 and 758 as adopted by the Michigan State Legislature in 1998 granting him/her full law enforcement powers on properties of Macomb Community College.
