In 2010, the department transitioned into a Public Safety Department, empowering officers with cross-training in firefighting alongside their traditional police duties. - Salary $55,975 – $79,978

Minimum Qualifications
- 21 years of age and a citizen of the U.S.
- Diploma from an accredited high school or its equivalent
- MCOLES certified or certifiable
- Pass complete medical and psychiatric exam
- Pass the complete background exam
