Dexter Township Ordinance Enforcement Officer Position

Washtenaw County’s Dexter Township is hiring an Ordinance Enforcement Officer. This immediate opening is a part-time position that requires office and fieldwork, along with intermediate computer and great interpersonal skills.

The hired candidate should be familiar with municipal government, and the principals of planning, zoning, and ordinance enforcement with preferred experience in building, civil engineering, or law enforcement.

Position Details

  • Part-time with 24 hours per week
  • Starting pay: $15.45 per hour, with an increase to $18.95 per hour
  • Provides paid time-off
  • A High School diploma or GED equivalent. A Bachelor’s Degree from an accredited college or university is preferred
