State Trooper LightsFive people were arrested in Seattle, Wash. after allegedly helping Joshua Blake evade capture by Washington State Troopers following the killing of Trooper Tony Radulescu on Feb. 23.

Among those who helped Blake, who committed suicide shortly after the shooting, was his former girlfriend Jessi Leigh Foster. Foster, 32, is the mother of his children and was contacted by Blake after the shooting. According to a PoliceOne article, he “told her he did something bad and needed help to escape.”

Sgt. Ken Dickinson of the Kitsap County Sheriff’s Office said, “She was actively trying to find a way for him to get out of the area” even after he admitted what he had done. Foster was at home with Blake when he killed himself while a SWAT team closed in on the house.
