  • Drop modified, employees must work 25 years before dropping, multiplier of those with 2.25 increased to 2.5, eliminated the 3.0 multiplier when entering drop.

    • This Clerk I through Clerk III change averaged an 11.53% wage increase, with 27.4% as highest, +2.9% lowest.

    • Lieutenants: $91,790.40
    • Sergeants: $84,052.80

    Other Important Issues

    • Payout for excess vacation time – once per fiscal year.
    • Increase on-call stipend to $5,500 from $4,000; paid $2,750 in March and October.
    • Increase paid holidays from 12 to 13 by adding Juneteenth.
    • Employer will pay 100% of retirement medical coverage for retirees’ spouses for those employed as of 2022 going forward.
    • Employer may start new employees with experience at higher than starting wage.
    • Two weeks employer-paid maternity leave or paternity leave.
    • Limited/light duty for injured employees.
