Law Enforcement Legislative Updates POAM Asks For Federal Intervention On Employers Honoring Retiree Health Care

On April 28th, POAM provided a written request to The Honorable Debbie Stabenow, asking for an amendment to the AHA (Affordable Healthcare Act) to prohibit employers, both public and private, from eliminating the contractually agreed to healthcare coverage for retired employees and thereby forcing these retirees to turn to the exchanges.
