Veterans & First Responders Exclusive Treatment Facility

Just One Hero NeededSanford Behavioral Health has created the JOHN Street (Just One Hero Needed) 1st responder/veterans only program, which is scheduled to begin accepting residential clients on July 25, 2025.  Our facility is 221 John Street NE in Grand Rapids and will accommodate 18 clients.  They will take all major insurance carriers and Community Care for veterans.  This program will only be open to those who have held or currently hold military and/or 1st responder experience.

Addressing Addiction, PTSD, Mental Health, Eating Disorders

The facility will be staffed 24 hours a day, 7 days a week, including on-site nursing.  Each staff member chosen has either real-world experience in the military or as a first responder, or has extensive experience working with these populations.  This is extremely important when building a recovery relationship.
