LEARN MORE ABOUT THE MICHIGAN CONCERNS OF POLICE SURVIVORS

Established in 1988, Michigan Concerns of Police Survivors (MI-C.O.P.S.) is a chapter of the National Concerns of Police Survivors. Our sole purpose is to provide support to surviving law enforcement families and co-workers in rebuilding their lives after the traumatic and life-changing experience of losing an officer in the line of duty. Furthermore, MI-C.O.P.S. provides training to law enforcement agencies on survivor victimization issues.

Concerns of Police Survivors (C.O.P.S.) is a national, non-profit organization formed in Washington, D.C. in 1984. C.O.P.S. held its first National Police Survivors seminar the following year with 100 attendees. Now over 48,000 survivor families and co-workers are served by C.O.P.S. nationally. C.O.P.S is also a key organization involved with National Police Week.
