Flag Dedication Ceremony

The Ann Arbor American Legion Post 46 and Washtenaw County Veterans of Foreign Wars Post 423 are the sponsors for the Flag Dedication Ceremony. This ceremony is dedicating the creation of a garden, flag pole, and walkway in honor of our country’s veterans, passed and living. The result of a two-year cooperative effort by the American Legion, VFW, and the City of Ann Arbor.

Event Details

  • Date: Sunday, September 29, 2019
  • Time: 2 p.m.
  • Location: Veterans Memorial Park, 2150 Jackson Ave., Ann Arbor, MI 48103
  • Admission: Free, with free parking as well

This event will be held outdoors, rain or shine, and tent seating is provided. The National Anthem will be performed by Tracy Shelton, followed by a guest speaker.

You don’t want to miss this event. Attend the dedication ceremony to pay homage to our country’s veterans.
