2019 Annual Convention
Join the Police Officers Association of Michigan on May 22-24th for the 2019 POAM Annual Convention. We’re excited to host and see you again this year for professional networking, entertainment, and a great time. This post will include booking information, the itinerary agenda, and imperative notifications.

Agenda
- Wednesday, May 22: Afternoon seminar, followed by an evening Poker Run, and Cigar Smoke. (The Craft Beer event is sold out!)
- Thursday, May 23: Noon business meeting (business attire) and cocktail reception
- Friday, May 24: Morning golf tournament

Reservations & Booking
AS OF 5/13/2019: Rooms at the Amway Grand Plaza Hotel are sold out. If you are still in need of a room, we have secured a block of rooms at the JW Marriott (235 Louis St NW, Grand Rapids, MI 49503). The rate for JW Marriott is $179 per night, self-park for $15, and valet for $20.
Book online by visiting our dedicated booking website created especially for the convention. Guests are able to make, modify, and cancel hotel reservations online, as well as take advantage of any room upgrades, amenities, or other services offered by the hotel.

Police Officer of the Year Nominations
We are also accepting nominations for the 2019 Police Officer of the Year award. Deadline for nominations is Thursday, March 7.
