Does your department have any interest in sponsoring someone for the academy? I have all the schooling and I’ve been to the reserve academy for Romulus.

I am currently a police officer in Roswell, NM. I moved to New Mexico from Dearborn, Michigan in February of 2011. I will be in Michigan visiting family during the time period that you are accepting applications. Due to my out of state status will it be required that I am MCOLES certified at the time I turn in the application? I am also limited financially to make multiple trips to and from MI. If this will be a problem I understand and will not submit an application as to not waste your resources. Thank you for your time.
