My colleague, Dr. Michael Arter, and I are conducting a study examining stress in policing and we need police officer volunteers (all ranks and assignments) to complete our survey. As former police officers ourselves (I was with Peel Regional, in Ontario, Canada and my colleague worked in the USA), we appreciate the stress of police work and are interested in the effects it has on police officers, as well as ways to combat it. The survey is approved by the Pennsylvania State University Institutional Review Board, is anonymous, and should only take about 20 minutes to complete. Participation is completely voluntary.
