I oppose the budget cuts to our police, ambulance and fire fighters. I heard of a website on the radio that addresses this issue, however, I can not recall the web address. I would like to go to that sight and express my support.
So, instead I found this site and am expressing my support for keeping our
fire fighters, police and ambulance people working. In this time of constant reminders of "terrorists at large" it does not make a lot of sense to make cuts in safety personnel. Actually I would like to see the actual financial books that indicated the exact amount of $ taken in and sent out by our state gov't. And for that matter the feds can quit giving it away to other countries. Let's support our own country and hard workers here in the US and let the other countries take care of themselves. To use a popular republican montra...we must empower the other countries by letting them pull themselves up by the bootstraps. I would much prefer our tax dollars are used on our own population and country right here in the U.S. It is rediculous for our workers to support the whole world when they don't contribute to the tax base. Enough is enough!
